The Short Stay car park is one of the most convenient parking options available as it is located right outside the terminal, it is undercover and offers excellent security for your vehicle. For weekend breaks and other short trips, this car park is a great choice, but for longer trips it is rather expensive. The Short Stay car park is a self-park service where you can choose your own space and keep your keys with you. When you return your car will be exactly where you left it.

Air Time T2

For a budget service with everything you could need from a car park, Air Time at Terminal 2 is a great option. It is a Park and Ride service with buses that run on-demand and take between 8 and 10 minutes to reach the terminal. The staff are friendly and well trained to ensure the safety of your vehicle. In addition, the car park has Park Mark Safer Parking accreditation and has been inspected by the police to ensure security is top notch.

Air Parker T2

Another Park and Ride service, Air Parker at T2, T3 and T5 is one of our most popular parking services at Heathrow. It offers fantastic value for money with some of the lowest prices and the highest customer reviews. Buses run every 20 minutes and take just 20 minutes to reach the terminal between 05:00 and 00:00. There are excellent security features in place to protect your vehicle and there is even access to the bar and restaurant of the attached golf course!

Blue Circle Parking

Blue Circle Parking, formerly Drivefly parking, is an efficient Park and Ride service for Heathrow Terminals 2 and 3. It is located only 4 miles from the airport and buses run from the car park on-demand, taking between 10 and 15 minutes. The car park is protected by Park Mark security features and staff are friendly and fully trained to ensure that your journey begins and ends without any issues.

Long Stay T2

The official Long Stay car park at Terminal 2 is a self-park service located a 15-minute bus ride from the airport. Buses run every 10 minutes and will drop you off and pick you up outside the terminal entrance. With this service you can park your car yourself, choose your own space and keep your key with you. It offers excellent security with being located on the airport terrain and when booked in advance can offer great value for money.

Meet & Greet T2

The official Meet and Greet service allows you to drop-off and pick-up your car in a special dedicated covered area outside the terminal. It is also a self-park service where you will need to park up your vehicle and take your keys to the attendant at the desk. While you are away your car will be moved to a secure onsite car park until your return. While you do enjoy some extra security with this service, it offers the same level of convenience as the better value off-site services described above.

MBW Parking

By far the best value Meet and Greet service available at Heathrow, MBW Parking is a great choice if you are looking for convenience. With this service you simply need to drop-off and pick-up your vehicle in the Short Stay car park outside Terminal 2. Your car will then be taken by a professional, insured valet to the secure off-site car park and brought back on your return. If you are travelling with a large group or with lots of luggage or if you simply want a short walk to the terminal, this is the parking service for you.

How do I pick someone up from Heathrow Terminal 2?

The best way to pick someone up is to park in the Long Stay car park free for up to 2 hours and catch the shuttle to the terminal. This will give you plenty of time for waiting in case of delays and less stress than trying to coordinate a pick-up outside the terminal where it is not possible to wait. You can also park in the Short Stay car park, but keep in mind that this costs £4.90 an hour.

Can you drop off at Heathrow Terminal 2?

Yes, you can drop off in the lanes outside the main entrance, however you are not permitted to wait here. For security reasons the area is patrolled by police and airport staff and you may be asked to move along. The easiest solution is to park for free at the Long Term car park for up to 2 hours, giving you plenty of time to see off your friends and family and they can then take the free shuttle to the terminal entrance. Buses take around 15 minutes to reach the terminal and run every 10 minutes.

How do you pay for Short Stay parking at Heathrow Terminal 2?

Heathrow Terminal 2 Short Stay parking is a self-park service. You will need to take a ticket at the entrance barrier, park your vehicle in a free space and then pay at the ticket machine when you return. You will then be able to use your ticket to exit at the barrier.
